Welcome to the Concert Season 2017/18: The program contains innovations and familiar features, concerts in which rising newcomers perform alongside established well-known stars in chamber music. You can look forward to the new After Work series: the refreshing relaxed form of a concert with exciting young performers such as Thomas Enhco and Vassiléna Serfimova, the string duo BartolomeyBittmann, the David Orlowsky Trio and accordion player Ksenija Sidorova. International artists and ensembles such as Maria João Pires, the Quatuor Modigliani, Il Giardino Armonico conducted by Giovanni Antonini, the Chiaroscuro Quartet, ECHO-Klassik prize-winner Khatia Buniatishvili together with her sister Gvantsa, as well as tenor Mark Padmore accompanied on the piano by Till Fellner can be heard during the coming season in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum.

The Bibliotheca Mozartiana contains about 35,000 titles and is the most extensive Mozart library in the world. Work has been carried out on the complete historic and critical edition of the Neue Mozart Ausgabe (New Mozart Edition) since 1954 and this will soon be finished (2006/2007). Following on from this work a Digital Mozart Edition is being created and continuously updated which will make the text of the New Mozart Edition freely available on the Internet. This project comprises about 35,000 pages of text and music.
